I have kept river logs for over a decade or two.  Many of them will never be found, but I can remember all of my river adventures as if they happened yesterday... all the way back to my early teens when life jackets were optional and rafts were of the G.I. Joe kind.  To the right is a pic my oldest son about to surf his first wave.
